200 UniTox Gas Detection Sensors - Improved Design

THE WOODLANDS, TX - Detcon Model Series 200 UniTox™ gas detection sensors receive a redesign in packaging that includes a much-improved mechanical assembly and more economy in pricing.
The UniTox™ gas detection sensors product line consists of a common Universal Transmitter Module and a wide reange of Intelligent Sensor Modules (ISM) capable of monitoring over 40 different toxic gases, plus oxygen. Improvements in the mechanical assembly include an electro-polished 316 stainless steel ISM (replacing the previous plastic module) and a Universal Transmitter Module packaged in an explosion-proof enclosure. Its universal design allows for complete interchangeability of any Intelligent Sensor Module. As a result, ISMs can be pre-calibrated, stored and rotated to the field as needed.
The UniTox™ sensor is intrinsically safe and loop powered, using advanced microprocessor technology to convert the signal from an electrochemical sensor to a 4-20mA analog output. The Intelligent Sensor Modules are gas/range specific and feature microprocessor electronics that store identification data, calibration history, and data logging results. Information is automatically communicated to the Universal Transmitter Module upon plug-in.
