Rodrigo Ramirez joined Detcon in 2005 as the Latin America Business Development Manager. Prior to joining Detcon, Rodrigo worked as Automation Director for a company specializing in safety systems and critical instrumentation. Rodrigo says he developed an expertise in fire and gas systems, which made his move to Detcon an ideal career choice.
Originally from Mexico City, Rodrigo now resides in The Woodlands, TX, and offices from Detcon's headquarters. He travels four months of the year throughout Latin America visiting with customers and servicing their application needs. While at Detcon, Rodrigo has worked on numerous projects covering a wide range of applications. Among his most coveted projects include major offshore platforms in the Gulf of Mexico, and gas transport companies across Argentina.
Rodrigo has a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and certifications by ICS, Triplex, Triconex, GE Fanuc, Allen Bradley, Fire Sentry, and Detcon.
